What is known about Addison Black

Addison Black’s origins remain disputed.

Some say he was born in Blackmere Hollow; others believe he merely returned there. His earliest verified trace is a 19th-century parish record, listing him only as -

Keeper of Things That Once Were.

He has been cited by folklorists as a source and twice named a “person of interest” by authorities.

(The cases were closed. The files, sealed.)

It is rumoured that he writes only by candlelight with ink that never runs dry. He has never been photographed in daylight.

Correspondence, if answered, arrives in envelopes lined with what appears to be dried lavender… or hair.
